The Story

Introducing the new Dark Arts coffee Capsules

14 x Nespresso-compatible* coffee capsules per box.

Origin: Peru, Cajamarca
Varietals: Typica Caturra Mondo Novo Bourbon Catimor
Process: Washed
Altitude: 1,350 - 1,890 masl

Melted Chocolate, Caramel, Sweet Tangerine

This coffee is sourced from COOPAFSI, a cooperative of 365 farmers spread across 16 communities in San Ignacio, Peru. These farms are located around the Tabaconas-Namballe National Sanctuary, where rare and endangered species of mammals and birds thrive. The cooperative practices sustainable farming methods, working organically and donating a portion of their coffee sales to support the local bear sanctuary, El Oso Fund. Using only fallen trees, the farmers ferment their coffee in wooden tanks to ensure consistent and stable temperatures, resulting in a high-quality coffee. After fermentation, the coffee undergoes rigorous testing and evaluation before being sent to Chiclayo for further quality control measures. From there, the coffee is carefully prepared for export to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

*Unfortunately, these pods aren’t compatible with the new Nespresso Vertuo machines
